Classic Blackjack

This Microgaming version of the classic casino table game Blackjack possesses some fantastic visuals, amazing graphics, fast speeds and world-class sound effects, which help to produce a truly phenomenal online gaming experience.  This is a must-play version for any blackjack fan and players who loved the original Microgaming version are sure to be blown away by the much improved Classic Blackjack Gold.  We're extremely impressed with the new sleek look and superior graphics!

Our Verdict:  The graphics in this latest Microgaming edition of Blackjack have had a complete overhaul.  Players can now expect a far more realistic game, which now boasts a sleek felt green table with polished wooden edges.  This new version is modeled on the type of table you're likely to find in any popular Las Vegas casino.  The expertly rendered chips are great, and it almost feels like you are reaching out to pick one up when you place a bet.  This version is a great stepping stone for beginner blackjack players, whilst also providing a stellar experience for any Blackjack lover.

How to Play:  Microgaming's Classic Blackjack Gold is played with a single, standard 52-card deck.  To start playing, you'll need to decide on your bet.  Chips in this game start at £1 and rise in increments to the maximum bet, which is £200.  The aim of the game is to create a hand that comes as close to 21, without going over.  Beating the dealer's hand or being dealt a blackjack will result in a great cash win.  In this version of the game, you're able to play up to five different hands at any one time.  Be aware that when you place bets on each of the five spaces, your bets will add up quickly.  The ability to bet up to £1,000 per game will appeal to high rollers.

Betting Options: In this version of the classic blackjack table game, players are given a chance to split once during a single game.  This is possible when you have two cards of the same denomination, such as a 10 and a 10.  If you choose to split, the bet on the second hand will be equal to your original bet.  It's impossible for you to make blackjack on a split hand, although it will still value 21.  It is not possible for players to double down after a split.  You can, however, double down on your first hand if you hold a value of 9, 10, or 11.  Your hand automatically stands after your card has been dealt following a split.
Payouts and Betting:  In this game, if it is revealed that the dealer has blackjack, the bet pay out is 2:1.  In a regular game, if you manage to hold a blackjack then the payout is 3:2.  A standard win will provide a 1:1 payout.

Additional Features: In Classic Blackjack Gold, players are given the opportunity to place an insurance bet which is equal to half of your regular bet.  These insurance bets are separate from your regular bet and will only cover your original hand. is operated by ProgressPlay Limited of Level 3 (suite no. 1258), Tower Business Centre, Tower Street, Swatar, Birkirkara, BKR 4013, Malta.
